Atea, the number one supplier of IT infrastructure products and services in the Nordic and Baltic region, today announced second quarter 2010 results with revenue of MNOK 4,042.4, up 11.8% in constant currency compared to Q2 2009. EBITDA ended at MNOK 132.4, up 13.1% versus last year and operating profit (EBIT) was MNOK 83.5 which is up 17.3% compared to Q2 2009.

Atea AS has entered into an agreement to acquire all  shares in Dropzone ASA which will establish the base  for Atea's dedicated sales and marketing machine  serving the small and medium sized customer segment in Norway.

EBITDA ended at MNOK 119.7, up 31.3% versus last year and operating profit (EBIT) was MNOK 76.1 which is up 61.3% compared to Q1 2009.

Atea has entered into agreement with Impact Europe Group AB to acquire Impact Europe's subsidiaries in Sweden and Norway. The two companies have a total of 59 employees and generated revenue of MSEK 186.6 (MNOK 153.2) in 2009
